Film Screening: Blood in the Face
Avalon Seafood Gallery
7 Holden Street
Blood in the Face will screen to celebrate the close of State of the Union, an exhibition about the current state of social and political dialogue in the United States. Blood in the Face, a 1991 documentary on neo-Nazi movements, contains deadpan footage of dialogue and viewpoints that were extremely marginal at the time of its release. Viewers may be surprised at how familiar these positions sound to today’s ears, as many of them have been inserted into America’s mainstream political dialogue.
