Vermont’s Long Trail is arguably the most celebrated hiking trail in New England, and one of the best known in the entire United States. Built between 1910 and 1930 by the Green Mountain Club, it runs from near Williamstown, MA all the way to North Troy, VT. In this talk, explorer and writer Max Grinnell will present a selection of historic images from the University of Vermont that tell the story of this remarkable path. Lobby, 6pm.
